Provide on-the-job
training on an individual basis for persons with
disabilities to assist them with learning new job skills
at the worksites. Serve as a liaison between
vocational counselors and participants. Prepare
and maintain progress reports and updates for referral
sources. BA/BS degree preferred in social services
or related area of study, and/or equivalent experience.
Excellent oral and communications skills. Ability
to multi-task and remain flexible. Valid driving
permit.
CASE MANAGER WIA- 1 FT,
The Job Center
Provide direction to
participants on use of tutorials and on-site mentoring
and developing an individual employment plan. Provide
counseling to workers affected by job loss and/or
barriers to employment, assist in identifying skills and
vocational goals. Maintain client file and work with
program employees and Summit County DJFS staff.
Experience with employment and training programs.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Bachelor's Degree and/or/equivalent experience in case
management, license in Social Work preferred.
DOCK WORKER - 1 PT,
Waterloo Rd. facility
Load and unload
merchandise from trucks and trailers using tow motor,
hand pallet jack and dollies. Must follow company
policies and safety procedures to ensure store
merchandise service. Receive shipped merchandise.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with full range of
motion, basic math skills, valid driver's license and
ability to work in adverse weather conditions required.
Must work every other weekend.
