Easy Summer T-Shirt Project

An Easy Summer T Project

Let’s make fashion magic in a SNAP with this easy summer t-shirt project! I’m forever looking for new and inventive ways to style my clothes. I ask myself, is there a different way I can cuff my pants, roll my sleeves, or tuck my shirt? There are many small and simple variations we can make on everyday items we wear! Thinking outside the box with simple pieces will help you wear what you have in new, creative ways.

This month, I’m taking a simple t-shirt I’ve thrifted from Goodwill and redesigned it by cutting and reshaping its silhouette. It’s very easy to do! Here, I’ve redesigned a t-shirt into a halter style top. This project took me about 10 min.

3 easy steps to make your own:

  1. Fold your T-shirt in half and make sure you very neatly line up each half.
  2. Cut the sleeves off at a diagonal upwards towards the neckline. (save the sleeves for an easy headband!)
  3. Trim off the edges of the leftover sleeves and make a bow for the collar – if you’d like!

Seriously. That’s it! You’ll find many t-shirt design ideas on Pinterest here. But, start with an easy design, and you won’t be disappointed!
