AKRON, Ohio — Oct. 8, 2014 — Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties as well as honorary event chairs George and Beth Sherwood invite you to attend a night full of culinary delights and vintage fashion at the Ninth Annual Taste of Vintage gala fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014. Proceeds from the event support Goodwill’s mission to help individuals prepare for, find and retain employment in our community.
“We are honored to chair Goodwill’s fundraiser for a second year. The gala includes a vintage fashion show, fantastic auction items as well as delicious food from area restaurants and specialty businesses,” said George and Beth Sherwood. “It is also a special evening as we recognize Jackie and Greg McDermott’s support of the Akron community during a celebratory toast.
