Apple Picking Outfit Ideas You Can Thift

Fall is my favorite season. I love all the cozy fall activities and especially the fashion. Apple picking is one of the fall activities I have on my bucket list for this season. You can thrift a cozy and cute outfit to go apple picking. I like to get inspiration first and create a thrift wish list. Here is my apple picking style moodboard;

Overalls are a fall staple. I saw a lot of inspiration for overalls styled with a chunky white sweater. These overalls have the trendy barrel leg style. There is no shortage of white sweaters and chunky knits at Goodwill. For shoes, stay comfortable in a neutral tan converse sneaker perfect for walking miles of orchards. Don’t forget to add fun accessories like a headband, hair bow, scarf and dainty jewelry.

If you love to wear quirky and fun prints this cardigan outfit is perfect. You can layer a white tee or tank under the cardigan. I styled the cardigan with a denim skirt for a casual but feminine look. I matched the pop of yellow in the flower print with a pair of yellow loafers. You can also wear a fun pair of socks or printed tights. Keep your head warm and look chic with a complimentary beret hat.

Fall time is when your outer wear is the outfit. Why not make a bold statement with a colorful plaid shacket. I layered a waffle knit top underneath for extra coziness. For a day outside apple picking you can’t go wrong with a simple pair of jeans and sneakers or ankle boots. And in the fall season I feel like an outfit is not complete without a hat.  I love a matching wool fedora hat.

What fun fall activities are on your bucket list this season?
