Goodwill Announces Taste of Vintage Event and Honorees


AKRON, Ohio — June 18, 2018 — Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties is pleased to announce the 13th Annual Taste of Vintage gala fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018. In addition, the event will honor George and Beth Sherwood for their dedication to Goodwill and the greater Akron community.

“We are looking forward to honoring the significant contributions George and Beth have made to Goodwill and in the greater Akron area,” said Nancy Ellis McClenaghan, president & CEO, Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties. “We are hoping for a sell-out crowd to support our mission of helping people prepare for, find and retain employment. The evening will include delicious food from area restaurants and specialty businesses, fantastic auction items, an inspiring mission moment and will close with a vintage fashion show.”
