Did you know that over 100 Goodwills across the country are selling items online at shopgoodwill.com? Indeedy they are! What’s cool is that you can search the entire database of items for sale, or, what I like to do is narrow it to just the items being sold at my local Goodwill (Akron!). By finding things at my local store, I can choose to pick them up rather than having to pay any shipping charges.
I recently perused Goodwill Akron’s listings and have brought you my top 5 favorite items, along with some insight on how you might be able to use them in your home. Enjoy! And hurry over to shopgoodwill.com and check it out!
EPIPHONE GUITAR
Though most people would probably be interested in getting this guitar to PLAY it, I think it would make a great piece of wall art! I love how Nicole Hill (Confetti Garden) used 2 guitars facing opposite directions to make this cozy corner in her home.
WOVEN ITEMS
Woven baskets like these are VERY popular in home décor right now. These are great for styling side tables, coffee tables, and bookshelves like this one found on stylecaster.com (photo by Amber Interior Design).
VINTAGE SLED
So I know it’s only August, but it’s never too early to start gathering unique holiday décor at super low prices! This adorable vintage sled would be cute as display indoors or out. And of course it’s the PERFECT prop for a holiday photoshoot like this one from Crush Cul De Sac!
VINTAGE POLAROID CAMERA
This vintage polaroid camera would be so fun to use for capturing one-of-a-kind shots with your friends. Sadly, I think finding vintage polaroid fim can be really difficult. But no worries! Like the guitar, this vintage camera would be great as décor too. I love how Traci Yau styled these shelves using 5 vintage cameras mixed with books and art.
TABLE CLOTHS
These colorful tablecloths would, yes, look great on a table, but even better in a bohemian-themed bedroom like this one that was seen on missguided.co.uk. Color heaven!
