2026 Taste of Vintage models finale walk

Goodwill’s Taste of Vintage Celebrates 20 Years and Raises At Least $170k to Support Mission

AKRON, Ohio — Nov. 6, 2026 — Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties raised at least $170,000 at its 20th Taste of Vintage gala fundraiser! All net proceeds support Goodwill’s mission to help individuals prepare for, find and retain employment in our community.

The milestone event, held on Nov. 5, 2026, drew over 430 guests and celebrated the community leadership of past Taste of Vintage Community Service Honorees from 2011 through 2025, as well as past and present vintage fashion show models. Guests celebrated Goodwill program participants with a mission moment and enjoyed silent and live auctions, along with a showcase of fashions from the 1920s to the 2000s from Goodwill’s Vintage Collection.

“Over the past two decades, Taste of Vintage has become much more than a fundraiser,” said Nancy Ellis McClenaghan, president & CEO, Goodwill Industries of Akron. “It has been a reflection of our community’s commitment to helping people overcome barriers and achieve their employment goals. We are honored by the incredible support of everyone who has contributed to this event through the years and thankful for the investment they continue to make in the individuals and families we serve.”
