A Rose Project To Provide Prom Dresses For Spring 2020

AKRON, Ohio — March 3, 2020 — In the last two school years, the Andrea Rose Teodosio Foundation’s “A Rose Project” has helped nearly 300 young ladies annually with homecoming, prom or other occasion dresses. With prom season on the way, The Andrea Rose Teodosio Foundation and Goodwill will make the collection accessible on two Saturdays this spring – March 21 and March 28 from 10am to 2pm at Goodwill’s Service Center.

Youth may gain access to nearly 2,500 garments in the collection as well as a limited number of shoes, jewelry and accessories.  In addition, Goodwill will offer each young lady a career assessment so she better understands her strengths and interests and how those match with potential career paths that may be available to her.

“A Rose Project” was started by a group of Girl Scouts in honor of Andrea Rose Teodosio and her belief in the inner beauty of others,” said Gregory Morton, vice president, mission services & public relations, Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties. “Goodwill is honored to continue the tradition and excited to support those young ladies who wish to take the career assessment and plan their futures.
