Goodwill and The Salvation Army Partner for 2014 Resource Fair

ASHLAND, Ohio — April 14, 2014 — Goodwill Industries and The Salvation Army in Ashland are partnering to bring together nearly 30 social service agencies in one location for its 2014 Resource Fair.  The fair will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Ashland. 

“The event is free for the public and will provide individuals an opportunity to learn more about the social services available and the agencies in the Ashland area,” said Kelley Bush, director, mission services for Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland & Richland Counties.  “The fair is one way we are helping connect individuals to the services they need such as for physical and mental health issues, youth programs, housing and employment services to name only a few.”

About Ashland Kroc Center Services
In Ashland, the Kroc Center social services provides: emergency shelter and utility assistance and well as a daily hot meal and grocery assistance through the food pantry.  The Ashland Salvation Army is a Community Center as well as a Social Service agency; other services include music, art, and recreation.  Please feel free to pick up a program guide for additional information.
