AKRON, Ohio — August 15, 2022 — Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties is pleased to announce the 16th Taste of Vintage gala fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022. In addition, the event will honor S. Theresa Carter, president of the Synthomer Foundation, for her dedication to Goodwill and the greater Akron community.
“We are excited to honor Theresa’s significant contributions in the greater Akron area,” said Nancy Ellis McClenaghan, president & CEO, Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties. “Theresa’s purpose-driven mission of inspiring volunteerism and empowering others to give back to the community aligns perfectly with Goodwill’s mission to help people prepare for, find and retain employment. We are hoping for a sell-out crowd to help us honor her service to the community as well as support Goodwill’s mission.”
