ANNUAL GALA FUNDRAISER SET FOR NOVEMBER 3 AT QUAKER STATION
AKRON, Ohio — June 2, 2016 — Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties as well as honorary event chairs Chuck and Corrine Tennent are pleased to announce the 11th Annual Taste of Vintage gala fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016. In addition, the event will honor Thom and Lisa Mandel for their dedication to and steadfast support of the Akron community.
“We are truly looking forward to honoring the very significant contributions Thom and Lisa Mandel have made in the greater Akron area, as well as leading the fundraising efforts for Goodwill’s signature Taste of Vintage event,” said Chuck and Corrine Tennent. “We are preparing for a sell-out crowd to support Goodwill and the work it does in our region to help people prepare for, find and retain employment. This will be an event to remember with a vintage fashion show, fantastic auction items as well as delicious food from area restaurants and specialty businesses.”
