Four individuals with blue medals -- 2026 Celebration of Champions

Goodwill Elects New Board Members & Honors Program Champions

AKRON, Ohio — March 26, 2026 — Goodwill serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties held its 99th Annual Meeting & Celebration of Champions virtually on March 25, 2026, to elect board members and honor program champions.

“This meeting showcased a remarkable year of service and the inspiring achievements of our Celebration of Champions honorees!” said Nancy Ellis McClenaghan, president & CEO. “In 2025, we served more than 15,000 individuals across our five-county region while continuing to grow and adapt to meet evolving community needs, including opening and relocating three retail locations and expanding pathways to employment through innovative mission services. We also celebrated the generosity of our shoppers and donors whose support, through more than one million retail transactions as well as Elizabeth Clark Emergency Fund round up contributions, helped sustain vital resources for individuals experiencing crisis and barriers to employment. As we look ahead to our centennial in 2027, we are focused on strengthening our impact, aligning our strategic priorities and growing boldly into our next century of helping individuals prepare for, find and retain employment. The unwavering support of our board, team members and community has been instrumental in achieving these milestones, and we are truly grateful!”
