Goodwill Elects New Board Officers, Members & Honors Program Champions

AKRON, Ohio — March 23, 2022 — Goodwill serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties held its 95th Annual Meeting virtually on March 23, 2022, to elect board officers, members and honor program champions.

“We are very grateful for the support of our board of directors, team members and the community this past year,” said Nancy Ellis McClenaghan, president & CEO, Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties. “While the pandemic continued to create an uncertain world, our 95th Annual Meeting celebrated 2021 service numbers and showcased the successes of our inspirational Celebration of Champions honorees. Further, we provided an update on our key focus area of building reliable transportation supports for those in our community using the $5 million gift granted to us by philanthropist MacKenzie Scott at the end of 2020. We look forward to sharing more in the coming months on those transportation supports and our dream of making them sustainable once the grant is fully expended over the next few years.”
