Goodwill Honors Program Champions and Re-elects Board Members

AKRON, Ohio — April 1, 2016 — Goodwill serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties re-elected board members and honored program champions during its Annual Meeting and Celebration of Champions event March 31. The event hosted by Event Chairs, Dr. Pleas R. Chambers III and Andrea Chambers, was attended by nearly 200 individuals.

“We were honored to chair this year’s Annual Meeting and Celebration of Champions event in order to help recognize the achievements of Goodwill’s valued program participants,” said Dr. Pleas R. Chambers III and Andrea Chambers. “Each of the honorees has worked diligently to get where they are today and we are extremely proud of their accomplishments.  We know that for those with employment challenges, the pride of earning a paycheck can be elusive and that is why Goodwill is focused on helping individuals prepare for, find and retain employment.”
