Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
I must admit Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. Who doesn’t love an excuse to pull out the pink ribbon, buy chocolate (with no guilt), wear an excess amount of “girly” hues, and spend time with loved ones?
So I was pretty excited to go on my Goodwill shopping trip with a theme in mind, and right when I walked in the door I spotted this adorable love sweater. It must have been on my radar. Not only have I been wearing this one weekly, but I have received so many compliments on it, everyone loves it (pun intended)! And, the tags were attached!
After my first victory I made my way over to the outerwear and found another treasure. This beautiful vintage grey and pink polka dot coat was too cute to pass up. It looked a little bigger than my usual size, but I was determined to make it work, so in the cart it went.
I should mention if I was at a regular retail shop/boutique/etc, I highly doubt I would have bought something that wasn’t my size at regular cost. At Goodwill, the cost is so affordable, if the item doesn’t work when you get home, chances are you paid a minimal amount for it anyway. And, did you know each time you donate to Goodwill you are offered a 20% off coupon, and that isn’t just off one item, that is off of your entire purchase! I love the savings!
Oh, and I should let you know I found another piece of clothing that I am over the moon about, but it is a little too early to wear. One hint- It involves sailboats. Can’t wait to share with you!
