How I Styled It | From the Store to My Home

Ah, the Lakemore Goodwill at Lakemore Plaza Shopping Center—a hidden gem tucked away amidst the bustling streets of Akron, Ohio. Join me on a journey as we delve into the tale of each item, from its initial sighting on the shelf of the Lakemore Goodwill to its current glory adorning the corners of my home.

Styled Item No.1: Tranquil Bamboo Frame

After spotting this charming I knew it would become the perfect addition to my living room’s natural decor theme. Its earthy tones and organic texture seamlessly blend with the surroundings, exuding a serene and inviting atmosphere. Every time I glance at it, I’m reminded of the beauty of nature and the tranquility it brings indoors. It’s not just a frame; it’s carried with it the essence of the outdoors into my home, creating a space that feels both cozy and connected to the earth.

Styled Item No. 2: New Serenity Candle

A new candle is always a wonderful find! I couldn’t believe this modern black, two-wick candle was on the shelves! With its label reading “Serene” in elegant script, I knew I had to add it to my mantle of tranquil finds. Nearby a sign reads “breathe.” Always reminding me to take a deep breath and think about what is truly important. This candle retails for over $19 and I snagged it for $4! My newfound treasure holds the potential to transform any space into a sanctuary of peace and relaxation.

Styled Item No. 3: Cubed Glass Holder

Next, my eyes caught sight of a clear cubed glass holder nestled among various items. Its simplicity and transparency intrigued me instantly and I had so many ideas of how to style it. After a couple of scrolls on Pinterest, I decided to pair it with decorative rocks, and an artificial candle. I’m not officially on the lookout for more cube glass holders because a set of these would be a stunning way to style any space!

Styled Item No. 4: Natural Sandstone Pot

I could not believe the garden pot collection at Goodwill! Perfect timing, too, because Spring is right around the corner. I pulled this natural sandstone plant pot, knowing I have many plants that need new containers. With a touch of creativity and a dash of eco-consciousness, I believe I transformed this humble vessel into a sanctuary for a peace lily, along with a scattering of stones that crown the soil, anchoring the plant in its newfound home.

I hope that you reflect on the potential in things that are discarded and decide to venture out to Goodwill Akron Stores, where treasures wait patiently to be discovered.
