Mix and Match Spring Styles from blue / A Goodwill Boutique /

Hello Friends! And happy spring!

Today I want to talk about how to mix and match just a few pieces in many ways! You don’t have to have a lot of clothes to have a lot of outfits. Having just a few pieces that you love and that fit you perfectly can force you to be more creative with your outfits but you’re guaranteed to always look great!

I chose 10 pieces from my curated rack of fashion at blue / A Goodwill Boutique / to mix and match. From just those 10 pieces, I created 8 outfits that you can wear all spring long! And better yet, they are very “transitional” because as we all know, Ohio spring weather isn’t always warm right away.

Pieces I chose:
1. Dark wash denim jacket
2. Black leather jacket
3. Black denim skirt
4. Grey a-line dress
5. Chambray pencil skirt
6. Blush blouse
7. Turquoise blouse
8. Mint colored jeans
9. Cream colored flats
10. Camel colored wedges

The pieces I chose sound very neutral, and while they are, keep in mind that you can accessorize with pops of color in your jewelry, handbags, and scarves or hats.

Let’s start with an easy one; a grey dress! Having a simple a-line dress in your wardrobe is one of the most versatile pieces you can own. You can dress it up and down basically all year round!

Throw a denim jacket over top the grey dress and add a neutral flat. You can spice this look up with a fun scarf or statement necklace!

For colder spring days, or a more formal look, add a black leather jacket (there are several on my curated rack at blue)!

Next up: A classic colored skirt.

I chose two skirts for this post, a black denim skirt, and a chambray pencil skirt. Both are classic colors that can be mixed and matched with pops of color, dressed up and dressed down.

Don’t be afraid to wear black on black. When the fabrics are different, the texture breaks them up in the best way. Add a gorgeous blush blouse for spring and you’ll be the most chic co-worker anyone has 🙂

Also, don’t be afraid to mix denim on denim. Especially when they’re different colors. This dark wash denim jacket is clean cut, and this whole look is pulled together with a pop of color and a neutral flat.

This chambray skirt/blush blouse combo is one of my favorites. It’s just so dainty and springy, but has a little bit of edge when you add the leather.

Here again, don’t be afraid to mix your denims. Chambray is like denim’s cousin. They look great together!

Finally, I chose some mint colored jeans to really round up the spring looks today. Mint and blush look so pretty together!

Add leather and wedges for a fancier look, or flats and dark wash denim jacket for shopping with your girlfriends or casual Friday!

Remember, all of these outfits can be changed up even more with accessories! They’re like the cherry on top of the perfect outfit!

I hope this mix and match inspiration has been helpful and that you’ll check out all the new spring pieces at blue / A Goodwill Boutique /!
