NORTHFIELD, Ohio — Feb. 12, 2014 — Goodwill Industries is celebrating the relocation of its Northfield store in March. The new store, opening the week of March 10, will feature a shopper-friendly floor plan as well as serve as a donation site for gently used clothes, furniture, books, household items and more. To introduce the community to the new Northfield store location, for both shopping and donating, a special celebration will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on March 29, 2014.
“The new location will offer shoppers and donors an improved experience with a larger sales floor and drive-up donation area,” said Pedro Barnes, vice president, retail operations, Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland & Richland Counties. “In addition, the store will feature a job-search station for anyone seeking employment, a community room that can accommodate up to 20 people, as well as serves as a training site for Goodwill’s Work Experience Program. These are all part of the services we provide to continue our mission of helping individuals prepare for, find and retain employment. We are thankful for the community’s support, both shopping and donating, which is a critical component to the agency continuing its mission.”
