Thrift a Valentine’s Day Outfit & Feel Beautiful on a Budget

Whether you’re staying in for a cozy night at home or going out to paint the town red, you can thrift your outfit and still feel beautiful this Valentine’s Day.

Red skirts are timeless and will never go out of style. That’s why you can almost always count on finding one at Goodwill. Whether it’s a new trendy skirt or a vintage style, you can easily pair a red skirt with about a dozen different things including a romantic lace top, another thrift store staple. I spotted about three lace tops while shopping at Goodwill and went home with this Ann Taylor blouse. Add a pair of opaque tights, flats or wedges, a bold lip color and you’re ready for a romantic dinner!

If your plans are a little less formal, try going for neutrals with a pair of skinny jeans and a semi-sheer white or black top, paired with a retro 1990s boyfriend blazer. Just like lace tops, oversized blazers are a thrift store staple so it should be pretty easy to find one. Finish your look off with a pair of red or pink pumps for a pop of color. If you don’t have any luck finding a pair of bold shoes, go for a bright red clutch or satchel. Purses are plentiful and only about $3 at Goodwill!

Have a thrifty Valentine’s Day!
