Thrifted Date Night Outfits

I recently visited the Goodwill Northfield location for the first time. They say February is the season of love, and I was able to find some great date night outfits. Whether you are going to watch a movie or enjoy a romantic dinner with someone special. Here are some thrifted date night outfit ideas for any date you have coming up.

I love going to the movies. I found the perfect cozy movie date outfit. I loved the colors in this LC Lauren Conrad sweater; the slightly oversized fit makes it super comfy and chill. The colorful knit and balloon sleeves make it fun. I found a pair of skinny jeans in a light pink that perfectly matches the sweater. I topped it off with a darker mauve sherpa jacket for added texture and warmth. You can wear a pair of sneakers, a nice sock and loafer, or ankle boot for a trendier look. Simple jewelry and your favorite bag will finish this look. Now I’m ready to snuggle up with a bucket of popcorn.

Nothing says date night like a romantic dinner. When I’m dining under dim candlelight I like to make a statement. The bold print on this WhoWhatWear dress does just that. A fun take on the animal print trend but with a bright fuchsia twist. The sleeves and maxi length will keep you warm if the restaurant is chilly. I loved the cinched cuffs and nipped-in waist. The silhouette of this dress is perfect. And although I couldn’t find shoes in my size you can add a classic black pump. I paired it with my favorite black leather clutch, I also spotted a fun pink clutch in the store. You can wear a black leather jacket for a bit of edge or go chic with a blazer. You can amp it up more with your accessories or let the dress be the star with more dainty jewels.

Everyone loves fun interactive dates. Wine tasting is a great option. You can visit a local winery or a wine bar. I found more animal prints with this peplum blouse.  I like to think of cheetah print as neutral, so it pairs well with a pop of color. These green high-waisted trousers add that bold element. The brand is Goldie London, and it still had the $70 price tag on them. I love to define my waist, and this Charles and Keith belt was just the accessory for the job. If you are taking a winery tour, I would choose a comfortable flat over a high heel. But if you still want some height, try a block heel or a chunky mule. Look chic as you sip the night away.

Experience the arts with a theater show or play. This is a time to get dressed up a little more.  I went ultra feminine with this full pleated pink skirt. The sheer panel stripes add a lot of texture and unexpected appeal.  The best part of this skirt is that it has pockets! To compliment the skirt, I found this perfect white blouse with sweet ruffle details. I would wear tights, heels, and a cardigan for extra warmth. And you can add in your favorite outerwear and fancy jewels to finish the look.

I hope you are inspired not only to try out some of these date night ideas but to thrift your outfit as well. I know you will love it. Stay thrifty friends.
