GOODWILL TO REOPEN WATERLOO ROAD RETAIL STORE TOMORROW May 27th
AKRON, Ohio—May 26, 2011— After being closed since Friday, May 13th following a flash flood, Goodwill Industries of Akron will reopen the Goodwill Retail Store at 570 E. Waterloo Road tomorrow, Friday, May 27th at 9:00 a.m. just in time for the holiday weekend. Although not all the renovation work has been completed, the reconstruction crews and the Goodwill staff have worked side-by-side to minimize the store’s downtime.
To welcome back its customers, the store is hosting a huge sale by offering 50% off on specially marked items. This sale is valid at the Waterloo Road Store location only.

Goodwill operates 12 stores in its five-county region encompassing Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland, and Richland Counties. Net proceeds from the sale of items donated to the stores are used in assisting the agency in fulfilling its mission of helping individuals prepare for, find and retain employment.
