Goodwill Announces Taste of Vintage Event and Honorees: Annual Gala Fundraiser Set for November 4 at John S. Knight Center

AKRON, Ohio — Sept. 22, 2021 — Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties is pleased to announce the 15th Annual Taste of Vintage gala fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021. In addition, the event will honor Karen and Doug Lefton for their dedication to Goodwill and the greater Akron community.

“We are truly looking forward to honoring the significant contributions Karen and Doug have made in the greater Akron area,” said Nancy Ellis McClenaghan, president & CEO, Goodwill Industries serving Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland and Richland Counties. “Including, Karen’s nine years of service on our board of directors and her current support as an honorary director. We are hoping for a sell-out crowd to help us honor Karen and Doug as well as support Goodwill’s mission to help people prepare for, find and retain employment.
